This Bai Tu Long Bay Cruise features 4 days and 3 nights cruising, kayaking, and swimming in the far south-eastern part of the famous Halong Bay area, where local people call Bai Tu Long Bay.
According to a local legend goes, once upon a time when Vietnam was attacked from the sea, Jade of Emperor sent Mother Dragon and her children down to help the Vietnamese defend their land. When the dragons descended upon on where is now Halong Bay, they spat out countless pears into the sea. Those turned into a myriad of limestone islands, linking together to form a barrier against the invaders which crashed into the rocks. After the victory, Mother Dragon and her child decided to stay in the bay rather than returning back to the heaven. Where the Mother Dragon landed was then called Halong Bay, and her child settled called Bai Tu Long Bay,
Though Bai Tu Long Bay makes up of three quarters of Halong Bay, most tourist boats cruise from the closer harbor to the central of the World Heritage Site and limit their view within the touristic areas. As it is far away from the popular cruising route, Bai Tu Long Bay remains an extensive unexplored area. In some ways, it is even more stunning than Halong Bay.
