This Halong Bay Cruise On the Au Co offers a great 3-day cruising on a join boat, featuring an elegant and comfortable cruise trip in Halong Bay.
Halong means “bay of descending dragons,” and local legend has it that dragons created these islands to protect people from invasion by sea. Covering an area of 1,553 square km (600 sq mi), Halong Bay is a magical setting of thousands of sheer limestone islands jutting out of a jade-green sea. Its numerous tiny islands with sparsely forested slopes are dotted with beaches and grottoes created by wind and waves.
Recognised by UNESCO as World Heritage Site since 1994, Halong is truly a paradise for expedition cruise and beach lovers. Boats are cruising out to the bay every day, there are 1-day-trip, 2-day-trip, and 3-day-trip starting from the harbor of Halong City. All trips offer a great time cruising among magnificent limestone formations. However, some are more relax than others, which means the boat cruises further and stay longer out in the middle of the bay, giving you more time to discover the best of what Halong Bay has to offer.
While most one-day trip gives you 4 hours cruising in the bay, 2-day trips give you an amazing overnight on the boat in the middle of the bay, and the 3-day trips bring you down to the Southern of the bay to explore hidden lagoons and sandy beaches.
Below is a sample 3-day and 2-night Halong Bay Cruise on the Au Co, this large cruise ship features a large cruising route, offering great Halong Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Cat Ba National Park cruising experience.
