  • Day 1: Saigon Arrival

    Upon arrival in Saigon, your tour guide will meet and take you to your hotel in the city center. The rest of the day is free at leisure.

    Explore the dynamic city of Saigon, visit the famous Independence Palace and the War Remnants Museum to learn about the history of the country. In the afternoon drive out of Saigon to visit the Cu Chi tunnels, which were originally built during the wars against the French in the late 1950s and used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam war.

    Today you leave the city and embark on an overnight cruise through the lush and charming Mekong Delta region, learning about life of the 'Nine Dragon River' en route.

    You may want to rise up early today to taken the life in early morning along the river, enjoy the breakfast floating towards the famous floating market of Cai Rang. Disembark around noon and get transferred to your hotel in Can Tho, which is the biggest city in the delta region. In the late afternoon, enjoy a cycling tour of the pretty backwater streets in the area.

    After your breakfast, we will head to the border town of Chau Doc, which is an attractive spot along our journey toward Cambodia.

    Today you will leave Vietnam on a speedboat along the legendary Mekong river to get into Cambodia, here you will arrive in the bustling waterfront capital city of Phnom Penh.

    Have a full day city tour to takes in what Phnom Penh has to offer. Visit the Grand Palace, the Killing Fields, and the infamous S21 museum to learn about the turbulent history of Cambodia.

  • Day 8: Siem Reap (B)

    Today you will leave Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, the gateway to the temples of Angkor. Your tour guide will pick up and take you to the airport in time for your flight up north. In the afternoon you will be taken to the key temple of Angkor, the Angkor Wat and the sunset over the temple.

    Rise up early and leave your hotel for the beautiful sunrise over the Ta Prohm, where you will see the magnificent colors of the Khmer sunrise whilst being surrounded by the jungle clad the ruins of the temple. You then return to the site later in the day to explore the remaining temples.

    Visit the ancient sites of the Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre, built largely of red sandstone, a medium that lends itself to the elaborate decorative wall carvings which are still observable today.

    Today you will drive away from Siem Reap to the largest fresh water lake in Southeast Asia, the Tonle Sap Lake. Here you will aboard a private boat and cruise by numerous floating villages, you may also see a number of rare species of birds.

    Relax and enjoy you last day in Cambodia, your tour guide and driver will take you to the airport in time for your flight home.
